both paws

i think Schatje is ambidextrous. ambi-pawed?

when i prepare to eat crackers and brie or this wonderful mixture of marscapone and gorgonzola, she sits at my feet meowing and whining, occasionally pawing me (nails out) to hint strongly that she wants some too. she doesn't leave me alone till i give her some, which of course i don't. well, cept for this little trick i found that works really well to keep her occupied for a good 15min: swipe some on her nose, face, paws, ears, or anywhere slightly difficult to reach. she cleans every last crumb off, ignoring my plateful and leaving me in peace.

anyway, i thought she was right-handed...right-pawed cause i only saw her rub her nose with her right paw. but today she used her left paw too.

so she must be ambi-pawed. ambidextrous...
